2008 Region Nine Model Contest Update

The 2008 Region 9 model contest is quickly approaching. Check out the updated contest flyer for information on categories and times. The contest coordinators contact information can be found on the Special News pane to the right side of your screen. We still have sponsorship packages available, so show your support for Region 9 by sponsoring a category. We hope to see everyone there, it will be a great show!

Christmas Party

The December club meeting/Christmas Party will be on December 16th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. We will meet at the home of members Scott Gist and Cheryl Warmerdam. Click here for directions. We will be having a gift exchange, so if you wish to participate please bring a modeling related gift. All gifts need to be wrapped for exchange. If you have children that will be attending, we will also be having a gift exchange for them, so please bring an appropriate modeling related gift for a child. We hope to see everyone there.

Special Meeting for officer nominations

The October club meeting did not have enough members to conduct business, so we have scheduled a special meeting to try and get nominations done. The meeting will be held at the home of member Stephanie Whittington. The meeting will also be a pot luck, so please bring something small. On average the meetings due not exceed 12 members. July Meeting, Bar-B-Que.

The July meeting will be a club Bar-B-Que on July 14th. The Q will be held at member Kelly Voyles house. 152 W. Adrian Way, Hanford. The fun will start a 11:00 AM and run until 4:00 PM. There is a pool available for the kiddies, and this is the time for all to buy, sell, and trade all model related items. Directions

Update

As many of you know, I have been off the Net for a few weeks due to a move. Now that I am set up, and back on the Net we will have more regular updates. I want to remind everyone that the July club meeting will be the second Saturday due to the 4th of July weekend. Also, we have 48 days until the Kings County Classic. Get those models done!
